In The Sixth Form, we believe that every student deserves personalised support to achieve their potential. Each student is given the opportunity to create and review a Personal Development Plan (PDP), tracking their current grades, university and career aspirations and importantly, their next steps in order to achieve these. All students update these in a one to one meeting termly however, students are encouraged to take control over their own PDPs and more regular updates are facilitated for any student requiring this.
Personal Development Plans are at the heart of what we do in the Sixth Form and inform the opportunities offered to students. A flexible and dynamic approach to careers, with the student at the centre enables quality support in order to provide students with the skills needed in order to achiebe their potential. This can take the form of support in our Career and Subject Pathways, quality work experience and super curricular learning.
Students are given the opportunity to access a variety of different resouces, depending on their interest and aspiration; Oxbridge Group, university visits and enrichment placements enable students to gain the information they need, at the right time.
