Dyke House College boasts outstanding facilities, from which every Sixth Form student continues to benefit. These include high specification technology workshops, Apple equipped ICT suites, and outstanding array of sports pitches and multi use areas. The remodel of the college four years ago includes a shift to a Schools within Schools model, which has facilitated an intensely pastoral focus, something that our Sixth Form students continue to benefit from as the enter Year 12 and 13.
The Sixth Form space was newly refurbished for its opening in September 2014 and has a wide variety of spaces for students to relax, study independently and spend free time outside of timetabled lessons. Created in consultation with the Student Council last year, the differing environments reflect the needs of the students; enjoy downtime in the Common Room with friends, complete work or revision in the Study Room or eat lunch in our Open Space.
In order to accommodate our incoming students, The Sixth Form is expanding, with increased facilities including quiet study zones, bookable group spaces and larger Common Room space.
