Times Of The Day
Students will be expected to arrive for college at 8.25am for Learning Guide twice a week. Thursday morning will be extended Learning Guide time, running from 8.25am until the end of lesson 1.
On days where they are not expected to attend Learning Guide, students are required to arrive at college in time for their first lesson. Students are free to leave college in study periods if they wish however, they must arrive punctually and prepared to all timetabled lessons.
Students are expected to attend college in smart casual attire. As a member of the Sixth Form, students are expected to set an example to the younger students, therefore extreme hair colours or piercings are not permitted in college.
Food is available to purchase from the City Diner at break and lunch time. Alternatively, students can bring their own food in or pop out in their free time to get something to eat. The Sixth Form kitchen makes it easy for students to store and cook food too!
The Sixth Form has a wide variety of spaces for students to relax, study independently and spend free time outside of timetabled lessons. Created in consultation with the Student Council last year, the differing environments reflect the needs of the students; enjoy downtime in the Common Room with friends, complete work or revision in the Study Room or eat lunch in our Open Space.
In order to accommodate our incoming students, The Sixth Form is expanding, with increased facilities including quiet study zones, bookable group spaces and larger Common Room space.
